What are meta titles & meta descriptions?
Meta titles and meta descriptions are part of your websites page code that is commonly returned in the search results in Google and other search engines.
What is a meta title?
A meta title is the area returned in search engines such as Google

What is a meta description?
A meta description is the section that is sometimes returned in search results below the meta title. Google and other search engines will either display the meta description or if it feels content on the page is better suited it will return that instead.

Section 1
create your meta titles
It is critical that each page on your website has a unique meta title and that the title contains the main keyword you wish to rank for. In other words each page on your site should have its own meta title and not be a duplicate of another page.
The recommended length for a meta title is 50–60 characters. When creating a meta title.
I recommend when setting a pages meta title decide on what you are trying to rank that page for and have a look at what the top few competitors meta titles are. For example if your are trying to rank for ‘lawn mowing Manly’ type this in to Google and see what other top rankings companies meta titles are and write something similar (do not make exact copy).
Section 2
create your meta descriptions
Create meta descriptions that have the highest chance of people clicking through to your website. Keep your meta description length to around 120–155 characters.
